Return & Refund Policy

This Return & Refund Policy applies to merchandise — including Diary Zindagi Ki, books, apparel, accessories, personalised items, and gifts — purchased from the Zindagi With Richa shop. Please read it carefully before placing an order. By completing a purchase, you accept the terms below in addition to our Terms of Services.

1. Return Window

You may request a return within 7 days of receiving your order, provided the item meets the eligibility conditions in Section 2.

2. Eligibility for Return

An item is eligible for return only if:

  • It is unused, in its original condition, and in the original packaging with all tags and seals intact.
  • It was delivered damaged, defective, or incorrect (a different product or wrong size).
  • The return request is raised within 7 days of delivery.
  • You can provide the order number and clear photographs/video of the item and packaging.
3. Items That Cannot Be Returned

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Personalised or customised products (for example, items with custom names, dates, or messages) unless they arrive damaged or defective.
  • Books and stationery items where the seal or shrink-wrap has been opened, except in case of physical damage or printing defects.
  • Items marked as “Final Sale” or “Non-Returnable” on the product page.
  • Items returned after the 7-day window or without prior approval from our support team.
4. How to Request a Return

To raise a return request:

  1. Email contact@zindagiwithricha.com within 7 days of delivery with the subject line “Return Request — Order #<your order number>”.
  2. Attach photos/videos clearly showing the issue (damage, defect, or incorrect product) along with the original packaging.
  3. Our support team will review the request and respond within 2 business days with approval and pickup or self-shipment instructions.
5. Return Shipping
  • If the return is due to our error (damaged, defective, or incorrect item), we cover the return shipping cost — either via reverse pickup or by reimbursing the courier fee on production of a valid receipt.
  • If the return is requested for any other reason and is approved as an exception, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.
  • Please use a reliable courier with tracking. We are not responsible for items lost in transit during the return.
6. Order Cancellation

You may cancel an order before it is dispatched by emailing us at contact@zindagiwithricha.com with your order number. Once an order has been handed over to the courier, it can no longer be cancelled and must be processed as a return after delivery, where eligible.

7. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect the returned item:

  • If the return is approved, your refund will be initiated to the original payment method within 3–5 business days.
  • Depending on your bank or card issuer, the refund may take an additional 5–10 business days to reflect in your account.
  • Original shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable, except where the return is due to our error.
  • Cash-on-Delivery (COD) refunds, if applicable, will be processed via bank transfer to a bank account you provide.
8. Replacement

If you would prefer a replacement instead of a refund (for damaged, defective, or incorrect items), we will dispatch the replacement once the original item is received back, subject to stock availability. If a replacement is not available, we will refund you in full.

9. Damaged or Missing Items on Delivery

If your package arrives visibly damaged or tampered with, please refuse the delivery if possible, and contact us within 48 hours of receipt at contact@zindagiwithricha.com with photographs of the package. This helps us file a claim with the courier and resolve the issue quickly.

10. Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received an approved refund within the timelines mentioned above:

  1. Re-check your bank account or card statement.
  2. Contact your bank or card issuer — there is often a processing delay before a refund is officially posted.
  3. If the refund still has not arrived, write to us at contact@zindagiwithricha.com with your order number and we will assist you.
